Christmas Peace Declaration at Puijo
The declaration of Christmas peace takes place at Puijo on Christmas Eve at 13.
Christmas Church Service
If your Christmas includes a visit to church, you can walk 1.5 km from us to the Alava Church, a modernist gem from the 1960s.
Christmas Lake Tranquility
On the other side of the bay is the beautiful, small Pölhö Island, where a campfire spot by the lakeside offers a wonderful retreat into the winter dusk. It’s about a 1 km walk from Bella Lake Resort.
Sports
Winter activities are central to the season, with skiing calling out to visitors. Depending on snow conditions, trails are open in several locations in Kuopio. How about testing the slopes at Puijo? In our Bella Park area, you can also play padel to burn off those Christmas calories or visit the gym. All just steps away from us!
Christmas Market
The Kuopio Christmas Market will be open until December 23rd at 7 PM. You’ll have plenty of time to pick up gifts or festive treats as mementos of Christmas! The market is located at the charming Kuopio Market Square, right in the heart of the city, with vendors and restaurants creating a delightful atmosphere.
